  • Eligibility. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. PROMOTION OPEN ONLY TO RESIDENTS OF THE FIFTY UNITED STATES AND DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA AGE 18 OR OLDER. IF YOU ARE NOT A RESIDENT OF THESE AREAS, YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO WIN A PRIZE, AND WORLD SERIES OF GOLF, INC. ("SPONSOR") RESERVES THE RIGHT NOT TO AWARD PRIZES TO ENTRANTS WHO RESIDE IN OTHER JURISDICTIONS. To be eligible to win a prize, entries must be completed and received by Sponsor in the format designated below. Entries submitted through registration with Sponsor's website will be eligible to win a prize in a drawing only if the new website user account associated with the entry has not been cancelled at the time of the drawing. Directors, officers and employees of Sponsor and any of their respective affiliate companies, subsidiaries, agents, professional advisors, advertising and promotional agencies, and immediate families of each are not eligible to win any prizes. All applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Offer void where prohibited.
  • Disclaimer. Sponsor, all participating sponsors and any of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, professional advisors, employees and agencies will not be responsible for: (a) any late, lost, misrouted, garbled or distorted or damaged transmissions or entries; (b) telephone, electronic, hardware, software, network, Internet, or other computer- or communications-related malfunctions or failures; (c) any Promotion disruptions, injuries, losses or damages caused by events beyond the control of Sponsor; or (d) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Promotion.
  • Promotion Period. The Promotion Period is from 12:01 am Pacific Time on June 28, 2008 to 11:59 pm Pacific Time on August 31, 2008. All entries must be received by Sponsor during the Promotion to be eligible to win a prize.
  • Prizes.
    1. First Prize. During the period of June 28, 2008 through July 30, 2008, thirty-three (33) First Prizes will be awarded to eligible entrants who are randomly selected. One First Prize will be awarded for each day during this period. Each First Prize will consist of one (1) "World Series of Golf" Canvas Bag. Retail value of each First Prize is $100.
    2. Second Prize. During the period of July 31, 2008 through August 19, 2008, twenty (20) Second Prizes will be awarded to eligible entrants who are randomly selected. One Second Prize will be awarded for each day during this period. Each Second Prize will consist of one (1) "World Series of Golf" Hat. Retail value of each Second Prize is $24.
    3. Third Prize. During the period of August 20, 2008 through August 24, 2008, five (5) Third Prizes will be awarded to eligible entrants who are randomly selected. One Third Prize will be awarded for each day during this period. Each Third Prize will consist of one (1) "World Series of Golf" Polo Shirt. Retail value of each Third Prize is $48.
    4. Fourth Prize. During the period of August 25, 2008 through August 29, 2008, five (5) Fourth Prizes will be awarded to eligible entrants who are randomly selected. One Fourth Prize will be awarded for each day during this period. Each Fourth Prize will consist of one (1) "World Series of Golf" Golf Towel. Retail value of each Fourth Prize is $24.
    5. Fifth Prize. During the period of August 30, 2008 through August 31, 2008, two (2) Fifth Prizes will be awarded to eligible entrants who are randomly selected. One Fifth Prize will be awarded for each day during this period. Each Fifth Prize will consist of one (1) "World Series of Golf" Beach Towel. Retail value of each Fifth Prize is $48.
    6. Grand Prize: One (1) Grand Prize will be awarded to an entrant selected at random among all eligible entrants who were awarded and claimed a First Prize, Second Prize, Third Prize, Fourth Prize or Fifth Prize (each, a "Daily Prize") by September 14, 2008. Alternate winners who are awarded or claim a Daily Prize after September 14, 2008 will not be eligible to win the Grand Prize, regardless of when their prize notification was sent or received. The Grand Prize will consist of one (1) Leather Duffel Bag. Retail value of the Grand Prize is $250.

    Odds of winning a prize depend on number of eligible entries received. ALL FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL TAXES ASSOCIATED WITH THE RECEIPT OR USE OF ANY PRIZES ARE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE WINNER.

    All prizes will be awarded. Prizes returned as undeliverable or otherwise not claimed within five (5) days after delivery of notification will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. Prizes are not transferable. No substitutions or exchanges (including for cash) of any prizes will be permitted, except that Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value for any prize, except where prohibited by law. Limit one Daily Prize and one Grand Prize per person. All prizes are awarded "AS IS" and WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, express or implied, (including, without limitation, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose).

    In the event of a dispute about the identity of the entrant, entries made online will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at time of entry. An authorized account holder is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization (e.g. business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. The potential winner may be required to provide Sponsor with proof that the potential winner is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the winning entry.

  • How to Enter. To enter, register for a new account with Sponsor's website at www.wsgonline.com (the "Site") during the Promotion Period. When registering for a new account, you must submit your first and last name and a valid email address that has not previously been registered with the Site. Alternatively, you may enter by mail without registration on the Site by mailing a postcard with your first and last name, valid email address, and U.S. mailing address to: World Series of Golf, Inc., 5340 S. Procyon Street, Las Vegas, NV 89118, Attn: WSG Online Release 1 Sweepstakes Entry. Mail-in entries are considered submitted on the date received by Sponsor. BY ENTERING THE PROMOTION, YOU CONSENT TO BEING PLACED ON A MAILING LIST FOR PROMOTIONAL AND OTHER PURPOSES. There is no limit on the number of entries per person; limit one entry per valid email address submitted through new account registration and per postcard.
  • Promotion Rules.

    Prizewinners will be determined by a series of random drawings from all eligible entries received as of the day before the date of each drawing. Each drawing will be held at the offices of Cane Clark, LLP located at 3273 E. Warm Springs, Las Vegas, Nevada 89120. Prizewinners for the Daily Prizes for June 28 through July 6, 2008 will be drawn on or about July 7, 2008. Thereafter, the prizewinners for the Daily Prizes for each successive seven (7) day period during the remainder of the Promotion Period will be drawn on or about the Monday after each such seven (7) day period, except that the drawing for August 25 through August 31, 2008 will be held on or about September 2, 2008. The drawing for the Grand Prize winner will be held on or about September 15, 2008. Winners will be notified by e-mail within three (3) business days after each drawing. To claim a prize, winners should follow the instructions contained in their notification.

  • General Release.

    By entering the Promotion, you release Sponsor, participating sponsors and any of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees and agencies (collectively, the "Released Parties") from any liability whatsoever, and waive any and all causes of action, related to any claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the Promotion or delivery, misdelivery, acceptance, possession, use of or inability to use any prize (including, without limitation, claims, costs, injuries, losses and damages related to personal injuries, death, damage to or destruction of property, rights of publicity or privacy, defamation or portrayal in a false light, whether intentional or unintentional), whether under a theory of contract, tort (including negligence), warranty or other theory.

  • Selection of Prize.Actual model, color, accessories and features of the Daily Prizes and Grand Prize awarded shall be selected by Sponsor in its sole discretion and may vary from photos and illustrations used in print advertising, electronic and web banner advertising (including the Sponsor web site), and other visual depictions.
  • Use of Winner's Name, Prize, etc. Except where prohibited by law, entry into the Promotion constitutes permission to use winners' name, address, and/or prize information, without limitation, for promotional purposes without further permission or compensation. As a condition of being awarded any prize, except where prohibited by law, winners may be required to execute a consent to the use of their name, address, likeness and/or prize information, without limitation, for promotional purposes without further permission or compensation.
  • Affidavit & Release. As a condition of being awarded any prize, winners may be required to execute and deliver to Sponsor a signed affidavit of eligibility and acceptance of these Official Rules and release of liability.
  • Winners List; Rules Request. For a copy of the winners list, send a stamped, self-addressed, business-size envelope after September 30, 2008 and before October 1, 2009 to Sponsor at the address listed below, Attn: World Series of Golf "WSGONLINE" Sweepstakes Winners List. To obtain a copy of these rules, send a stamped, self-addressed business-size envelope to Sponsor at the address listed below, Attn: World Series of Golf "WSGONLINE" Sweepstakes Rules Request. Residents of VT may omit return postage.
  • Copyright Notice. The Promotion and all accompanying materials are copyright © 2008 by Sponsor. All rights reserved.
  • Miscellaneous. The Promotion and these Official Rules will be governed, construed and interpreted under the laws of the state of Nevada. Entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding in all respects. Sponsor reserves the right to change these Official Rules at any time, in its sole discretion, and to suspend or cancel the Promotion or any entrant's participation in the Promotion should viruses, bugs, unauthorized human intervention or other causes beyond Sponsor's control affect the administration, security or proper play of the Promotion or Sponsor otherwise becomes (as determined in its sole discretion) incapable of running the Promotion as planned. Entrants who violate these Official Rules, tamper with the operation of the Promotion or engage in any conduct that is detrimental or unfair to Sponsor, the Promotion or any other entrant (in each case as determined in Sponsor's sole discretion) are subject to disqualification from entry into the Promotion. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, use of bots or other automated programs or scripts to automatically submit multiple entries will be considered unfair to other entrants, and will be grounds for disqualification. Sponsor reserves the right to lock out persons whose eligibility is in question or who have been disqualified or are otherwise ineligible to enter the Promotion.
